I have joined the talented 2018 Kre8tors Stampin' Up! group of independent demonstrators for another round of inspiration this month. Our theme today is water. I am currently in the mood for chunky cards that are so thick they cannot be mailed in the US mail. I think of these types of projects as either hand delivered cards or 3d art for the walls, but they can also be packaged in a small box...

I missed last week's Creative Cat Crew color challenge due to prepping for three blog hops and packing up to move to a new campground. So first thing this morning I got started on this week's challenge. I have been waiting for some bright colors so I can break out a new stamp set for me "Playful Backgrounds".

The colors for this week are: Old Olive, Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo...

August Stamp 'N Hop - Masculine | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

Today I am joining the Stamp 'N Hop blog hop where we are sharing masculine projects. Since I travel full time with my husband, cards that I make are sent to family and friends. This means I have to abide by the USPS mailing rules else my cards get returned to me for more postage. I really enjoy the more chunky projects that are in direct conflict with these USPS rules and for today I decided...

Flip Half Card Front Thank You | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

I've seen these clever 1/2 front A2 cards around on Pinterest and decided I would make one of my own. I cut the top half of the front of an A2 card base. Dimensions I had to work with were 2 7/8" x 4 1/4". I let the colored base be my mat and I adhered a Whisper White focal layer cut to 2 5/8" x 4".

I stamped my image on the focal layer. I then chose corresponding DSP patterns from...

First I need to summarize our stay in Leavenworth. I finally got to check off an item from my bucket list. I wanted to stay a full three weeks in Leavenworth. It was lovely. It was also a great workout because we played disc golf twice a day almost every day. Even the first week, when I still had stitches from Carpal Tunnel surgery, I played right handed, or I would come along and look for Hub...

Video - Using The Brother Scan N Cut 2 CM350 To Cut Out Stampin' Up! Stamps

I got my new catalog stamp sets in May during the pre-order and I managed to get one round of electronic fussy cuts made before we hit the road.

Today I finally pulled out the Brother to cut out stamps from Calligraphy Essentials, Lemon Zest and Fabulous Flamingo. I already have cut outs stashed from In Every Season, Bird Banter, Amazing Congratulations and Rooted In Nature.

It's A Beautiful Day Dove And Flowers Card

This is one of the swap cards I received from my team. What a great cheerful card! I love this sentiment. I love all cheerful and inspiring sentiments. The floral die cuts were formed into domes and were applied with one center dimensional. The background was sponged and the die cuts colored with markers. The irridescent sequins went perfectly to finish it off.

Pink Circles Adventure Card | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

This card is quite easy to make and looks more intricate than it really is. The same two layering circle dies are used for all the circle elements: 1 3/4" and 2". the Sequin embossed background is reversed. A small strip of the DSP from Share What You Love is combined with a strip of Mango Melody. Rhinestones, Glitter Dots and the Pinke Metallic ribbon tied in a knot finish this card. I CASEd...
