Swap Share - Favorite Christmas Swaps

Publish Date:
Favorite Christmas Swap Made By Libby Foreman | Tracy Marie Lewis |

I decided to share the top two Christmas swaps. I was able to photograph over 450 swaps by combining my swaps as well as my two team mates swaps.

Ironically the two favorites were in my stash of 50 and both were from my extended team in Washington state. The swaps took place in Orlando at OnStage in November. Since I travel full time I loved being able to spend extra time with my team...

Sparkle Tropical Coral Birthday Card

I love this leaf cutout die! Last year one of the Paper Pumpkin kits had this same concept and I was thrilled when the new catalog included a leafe cutout in their Tropical Chic bundle. I took the idea of the sparkle glimmer cardstock from that Paper Pumpkin kit and then added the flowers and darker Garden Green fronds.

The Happy Birthday is from another favorite bundle - Beautiful...

Abstract Botanical Basket Weave Thank You Card

Abstract Floral Thank You | Tracy Marie Lewis |

Sometimes when you are in the zone, creating away, something goes awry. In this project the Whisper White cardstock shifted in the embossing folder resulting in a crooked pattern. Alas, I did not notice until I'd already adhered it to the mat.

I decided to add an angled layer behind to help offset the crooked basket weave and though not perfect I think it still makes a nice card. I cut...

Peaceful Poinsettia Colored Card | Tracy Marie Lewis |

I wanted to share a Christmas card project with you. I have so many Christmas Swap cards that they have their own box! I have sorted them into three categories as follows: AWESOME, I wouldn't change a thing!, Just about there, but needs a little more work, and finally, the lowest category, there's no help for this project.

Luckily I didn't receive too many really poor cards, but yes I...

I've been working on my YouTube Channel since September 2017. I wanted to write an article about what I did to meet my goal of becoming a full YouTube Partner. Once you hit this magic status, more channel functionality is enabled including access to their Partner Network, creator support team, my blog URL will be "allowed" on my videos and I can monetize if I choose. For me the key feature I'...

Simple Stamping Projects Day One | Tracy Marie Lewis |

We await one last part to fix our truck. The minus is that we will now have to travel over the weekend to get to our Christmas destination. On the plus side, I get another craft day!

We are staying on the Guadalupe River in Ingram Texas. It is a picturesque location with lots of walking space. This campground is on over 60 acres. The river has experienced recent major flooding and we...

Truck Brake Issues ... Continued...

More Brake Issues | Tracy Marie Lewis |

Today's continuing brake issues include a fire! Yup, the front braks caught fire and thank goodness we stopped when we did. Hub had properly prepared for something bad to happen and he used the emergency water in the truck to put the fire out. I have created a video with images and a more detailed explanation of what's been going on. I finish with some shout outs to all the helpful folks that...

Unexpected Truck Issues = Stamp Organization Day!

Ingram Texas Truck Brake Repair | Tracy Marie Lewis |

We are almost through Texas, which is not one of our favorites states. Yesterday was going to be our last night there, but... our truck's front brakes started grabbing on I10 while we were cruising along... scary stuff. They smoked and smelled horrible so we thought it would be best to get them inspected and fixed before going any further.

We had not experienced any braking issues until...

Today's sneak peek uses the new Occasions stamp set " Humming Along" and I've included a picture of the stamp set cover since I won't be able to add it to the supplies list below until January. ...
