Very Versailles Simple Stamping Project #2 Version #1

Leaves & Text Birthday Card #1 | Tracy Marie Lewis |

Here's another crafting with Libby project. This stepped up version I struggled with the most. I fussed with trim, cardstock bits, various pearls, droplets, gems and finally, this is what I came up with. It uses the leaved trinkets, metallic gold pearls, mossy meadow twine and cardstock strips top and bottom in black, mossy meadow and gold glimmer.

Libby and I had a great creafting day! My wrist had three weeks of recovery time and it did very well for me. I can tell the surgery worked just as well as it did on my dominant hand which I had done last year.

Ok moving on to this project. We thought it would be fun to work on some simple to stepped up projects using one stamp set with three color choices. In addition we added the...

Navy Sailing Birthday Card | Tracy Marie Lewis |

I absolutely love crafting days with my friend Libby! This was our first project. Libby found a cute card done by someone on her old team in Washington state for us to CASE. We made a couple of rules including using the striped navy and gray card from the Sailing Home Memories and More card pack. I used the two sailboats while Libby had an extra larger sailboat from The On My Mind Paper...

It is time for the August Kre8tors blog hop. I am excited to be a part of this great group of global Stampin' Up! independent demonstrators. I took a break in July to heal up from hand surgery, and now I am back to crafting with a happy hand!

This month's theme is a color challenge using the below image for inspiration. Though we are only required to choose three colors, I ended up...

Since I travel full time, I am often not in a location long enough to place pre-orders for new products soon to be released. So, when I saw the schedule for the 2019 fall catalog I was so excited because I am currently staying in one area long enough to pre-order!

I ordered stamps to use for Thanksgiving and winter cards as well as embellishments and a few stamp sets just for fun. I...

August 2019 Stamp 'N Hop - Color Challenge | Tracy Marie Lewis |

This month's Stamp 'N Hop is a color challenge and I am so excited to be able to participate. I just had Carpal Tunnel surgery three weeks ago and wasn't sure if I would be healed up enough to craft. My wrist is doing great and I had no problem taking on a rather challenging project.

I hope you were inspired by Libby's project, or perhaps you are joining the hop here. This is a great...

Floral Congrats - How I made This Finished Card

Publish Date:

I created a video explaining how I created a floral card a couple of weeks back. The result of that video is a series of card fronts made using Beautiful Friendship in a variety of colors. I spent time this weekend making them into cards. Today's card is trimmed with 1/8" vertical Melon Mambo peeking out the sides. Tip: As I was matting these cards I made sure to cut out the middle of the mat...

Neutral Floral Sympathy Card 2

Neutral Roses Sympathy Card | Tracy Marie Lewis |

Here is a second sympathy card using Beautiful Friendship and neutral inks. This is the same pattern I used to make the card in the included video. I trimmed the main image down to 4 x 5 1/4" and added a thin mat of Soft Suede leaving a thin Whsiper White mat of the card base showing.

The Silver Metallic pearls and Braided Linen Thread tied in a bow were the only embellishments. This...
