For the new year, I decided I would be embarking on a new art medium that I have not used before, artist grade colored pencils and watercolor pencils. I've owned the two Stampin' Up! packs of watercolor pencils for awhile now, but I've never learned to use them until very recently. I have a 3 part video series demonstrating techniques, creating focal images, and then I put them on card fronts...

I used a few non-Stampin' Up! supplies because they are long time favorites of mine. I have submitted these products to what is called the Sand Box where SU demonstrators submit their suggestions.

For this third splatter project I changed to the small poppies stamp. The small splatter used very lightly on the grouping of poppies did the trick. The large splatter worked perfectly again on the close up image. The coordinating white crinkle ribbon was colored using a light Pumpkin Pie Blends marker.
