What a strange time this is right? At first I was concerned that Thousand Trails would close because of Covid-19 and that had us worried. We bounce around between three locations when we are in the Pacific Northwest. Mount Vernon is our favorite location because it is close to I-5 and has the shortest commute to shopping, disc golf and family. Birch Bay used to be second favorite, but is is 45...

This project was a fun one. Spontaneous stamping of the three night sky stamps to create a background. Cut into random strips and applied over silver glimmer paper. I cut a moon using a circle die. The first cut creates the circle, then place the die offset for a second cut leaving a sliver of moon. Easy Peasy!

The sentiment is from Seaside Notions using an Ornate Labels die.

Libby found a pin for us to try out. Here is something similar > pin. It uses a technique that turns the card front background into a field of tile. It was challenging for us to figure out how to replicate the pin as we didn't go find a blog article to help us figure it out. I think our first try at this came out...

Last week was a very busy Stampin' Up! week. Each April Stampin' Up! posts the upcoming new catalog pdf, and the retiring lists for all products that are NOT carrying over to the new annual catalog that launches every June. Libby and I like to get together to walk through new catalogs. It is so fun to share in the excitement of sharing our thoughts about the content one page at a time.

Here are links to the products that will NOT be carrying over to the new annual catalog. I noticed that a few items are discounted, which means there are lots left of that product, and there could be more discounts as the new catalog launch date approaches, but it is a risk to wait. I've tried that tactic and lost out on a few items I've really wanted badly because I pushed to far and that...

This is a yellow door with wood pattern DSP. I just want to point out that the paper I used to color with the Blends markers is the back flap of the provided card bases. The result of coloring on this cardstock is alot of bleeding. I also found out that the colors saturate the paper, rather than blending so you can tell the darker line in the coloring. On marker quality cardstock, there would...

Alternatives - April 2020 Paper Pumpkin | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

This month's Paper Pumpkin had something a little different for the A2 cardmaker. They included fancy fold bases. This threw me off my game, but it also sent me down a path I don't normally take. I used the actual bases as provided on three of the alternatives. This was a nice set. I have no siblings so I do wish they'd added one more sentiment in the cursive font "friend" then I would have...
