These two cards were fun to make and took me and my virtual card pals forever! We had to research the Joseph's coat of many colors techniques and we chose two to try out. My digital crafting pals and I worked on a waterfall card. You can find instructions on Pinterest, we used a written guide over a YouTube video to make ours.
I envisioned the background to look like the ocean and then used the various Seaside Notions stamps for each mini-scene on the 2" squares. I used the snow from Natures Beauty to act as bubbles in the water.

This card started with a watercolor wash of Cinnamon Cider on watercolor paper. Next, white texture paste was colored with a couple of drops of Cinnamon Cider re-inker and was applies using the dots mask (also called a stencil) from the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks. I love how this turned out! For this trio card as I call it (three colors, three embossing folders), I brought out my big cutter and cut through three (one of each color) A2 size pieces of cardstock which will allow me to make three different cards. I like the colors for the nautical theme, and I think it will be good for Christmas and winter cards as well. I stored the extras in a stamp case...
