August 2019 - Stamp 'N Hop - Color Challenge

This month's Stamp 'N Hop is a color challenge and I am so excited to be able to participate. I just had Carpal Tunnel surgery three weeks ago and wasn't sure if I would be healed up enough to craft. My wrist is doing great and I had no problem taking on a rather challenging project.

I hope you were inspired by Libby's project, or perhaps you are joining the hop here. This is a great group of talented demonstrators from around the world, so sit back and enjoy the show!

I saw a cute idea for the Friends Like You stamp set, here is the pin-> Pin Link. As soon as I saw it I envisioned it as a shadowbox with a frame. 

I created a video showing how I made this card, it includes the already released short demonstration on converting the cattail die to grass. Video length 16 min 47 sec.

Here is my proof of concept which came out perfect. Next up was to create another in the prescribed colors. I will often create something monochromatic if I am testing out a technique. Eliminating the struggle over color helps me stay focused on the feature I am testing.
