Colorful Floral One Layer Card - Simple And Casual Stamping
This is the first project I made at my June craft day with Libby. I had good intentions of entering this in a color challenge but our rental rehab project derailed me so I am just now getting to blogging the projects from that day which was almost two weeks ago now.
This stamp set is distINKtive (Stampin' Up!s pixelizing term) with alot of depth giving it a watercolor looking result. This final card was trimmed down to 3 3/4" x 5" with a very thin Granny Apple Green mat. The only embellishments added were glitter enamel dots.
Before trimming the focal layer down, the full size image was pictured as a simple stamping project with a 1/8" white base border. This picture illustrates how easy a beginner stamper can make a single layer project that looks very elaborate.
Kim Willman asks in the comment below - How did you make this card? Do you have a video? So I recreated this card and a couple more with different colors, in a video which I have linked below. Thanks for asking Kim!
