This next set of fronts uses the filigree pattern deer stamp. I stamped these in two colors: Merry Merlot and Soft Suede. The first card started out as masculine and I was not going to add any embellishments but I determined that the stamp's pattern makes it more feminine. I die cut a bunch of white snowflakes from the Beautiful Blizzard set and used a few here with the metallic sequins....
Countdown to OnStage - Card Front Swaps - #4
It is time to talk about the copper foil leaping deer fronts. I made three of these. The first is copper on copper. As part of creating a set of materials to work with I die cut copper, silver and white snowflakes, leaving the negative sheet available to be used as a background. I chose the copper background and layered vellum with the large Stitched All Around label under the copper deer. I used the 'tis the season sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings. I don't have a ton of christmas sentiments and want to save some of them for other styles of cards. One sentiment I don't have any of is "Let it snow"
On to front #2. I used the largest stitched circle behind the copper deer to coordinate with the circle pattern on the dsp. A leftover strip of corrugated Soft Suede cardstock backed the Merry Merlot inked Season's Greetings sentiment from Beautiful Blizzard which I cut out using the larger Lilypad Lake label die.
The final copper foil card sits on the large Whisper White Stitched All Around label. Behind is a rectangle of corrugated Soft Suede. I used the Season's Greetings from Beautiful Blizzard, cut out the same as front #2.
All three cards were embellished with metallic sequins. I am down to one final deer front that I will share with you tomorrow. In the mean time I am already moving on to the next set of fronts.
Thanks for stopping by!
