After traveling over four thousand miles from Washington state to Florida for OnStage, I now MUST get my swaps done. I am not a good repetition crafter, I pretty much fail in that department. So, in order to keep this fun for me I am going to blog all of my projects I make to swap. I will be making card fronts, so their final size will be about 4" x 5 1/4" so all that is left is to adhere them...
Countdown to OnStage - Card Front Swaps - #2
I made great progress on swaps today! I finished the deer layouts I had prepped over the last couple of days. That brings my completed count to ten. I will reveal them in groups by deer die. Today's two use the Wood Textures DSP and the leaping deer die.
The first front started with a practice piece of Whisper White. I liked it well enough to put it in my to be used container. I was experimenting with the various cloud stamps that come with Beautiful Blizzard. It is so busy in the center I knew it would need to have a focal to cover it. I used a rectangle piece of vellum to soften how heavy the Blueberry Bushel inked center is. Above it sits a strip of corrugated Wood Textures DSP, covered by the large stitched die from Stitched All Around and finally on top is the leaping deer. I used the season's greetings sentiment from Wishing You Well stamp set.
The second card starts with the Festive Farmhouse DSP background with a 1/4" smaller all around tufted piece of Basic Gray cardstock. A strip of corrugated Soft Suede with a strip of Braided Linen Trimlie under a stitched oval Whisper White cardstock that the leaping deer sits on. This front uses 'tis the season from Itty Bitty Greetings. And that is two more fronts COMPLETE!
Thanks for stopping by!
