3M ATG Tape 1/4" General Use
If you use alot of tape, there is a knock-off brand out there. I've used it and it is only ok....
I finally gathered just enough supplies to finish a project. I made a birthday card for this week's Creative Cat Crew color challenge #40. Colors for this challenge are: Sweet Sugarplum, Powder Pink, Pear Pizzazz, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I used a stamp set from the new Occasions catalog "Southern Serenade".
I currently have very little space for supplies as we are staying at my in laws. I bought minimal inks and cardstock to save on space and will color match as close as possible. The card base is from Sale-A-Bration, which means it was a free item for purchasing $50 of SU product. The set is called Tutti Frutti and I thought the green was a close match to Pear Pizzazz. I managed to snag a clearance 6" paper pad. It had a nice splotchy Sweet Sugarplum pattern which I used, tearing the paper so the edge has a softer look to go with the cheese cloth.
For Crumb Cake I used Memento Toffee Crunch. The flower was colored using Blends. For the Powder Pink To Sweet Sugarplum, I blended Light Pink Pirouette with Dark Pink Pirouette and for Pear Pizzazz I used Light Old Olive. I don't have any SU white cardstock but I did grab some Copic coloring cardstock from my mom's and for this project I chose to use Neenah 80lb Solar Crest. I thought the Blends behaved just like Copic Sketch markers. I was able to confidently use multiple layers of ink with the Neenah Cardstock resulting in a nice blend. Here is this weeks inspiration image.
I have made a video for this project which I will process and get loaded up on YouTube.
I have entered this project in the following challenges:
