June 2019 - Kre8tors Blog Hop - Father's Day Or Graduation

It is already time for another Kre8tors blog hop. The theme for June is Dads & Grads. Since I await new products from the recent annual catalog launch, I chose to a couple of fun carry over products to make a graduation project. I visualized my 16 year old niece graduating from high school this year, but realistically it will be a couple more years. She is colorful and vibrant just like the card I made so perhaps I will hold onto it until her graduation time comes.

I started with the largest layering oval dry embossed using the Subtle embossing folder. I envisioned a colorful scene with a background using either fireworks or confetti from Birthday Backgrounds. This collage is full of depth with the corrugated Melon Mambo background and a top layer of torn, curled and crinkled fireworks stamped Whisper White cardstock. 

The finishing touches are white baker's twine and matching enamel dots. I stamped the inside and outer envelop with confetti as well.
