December 2018 - Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop - Occasions & Sale-A-Bration sneak peek

Today I am joining the December Stampin' Dreams blog hop to share our Occasions or Sale-A-Bration sneak peek projects and inspire folks to be creative! I cannot believe it is almost 2019 and that means I have been living a full time travel life for almost two years, boy does the time fly.

One of the benefits of full time travel is that I was able to trek to Florida for the fall Stampin' Up! conference which is called OnStage. I was overwhelmed with three days of crafty goodness and received some prize stamp sets for this new round of catalogs that will go live in January.

I decided to create a multi step project using a new stamp set called "Incredible Like You" which I have included a picture of here as I cannot add it to the supplies list below until January. I used all but a few of the stamps in this set. I did not need to use the Stamparatus, as the alignment of these two step stamps is very easy to see through the photopolymer material. 

I used the Detailed Trio punch in the upper right corner, I don't use it enough and love the result when I do! The thin mat is Mango Melody. The Balmy Blue checked background is called "Gingham Gala DSP" and is from the Occasions catalog. 

I added white gel pen highlights, here is a close up showing the dots on the lettering. I like heavy mixed font lettering and I prefer them in Basic Gray which I used here. Behind the sentiment is a watercolor stamp from "Love What You Do" It is a really simple way to achieve a watercolor background.

Mango Melody Mat: 3 7/8" x 5"
Balmy Blue Background: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
