Sneak Peek - Holiday Catalog - Kindness Card
One of the challenges of travelling full time in an RV is receiving packages. Many campgrounds do not accept camper packages unless medication or an RV part. So, when I placed my pre-order for the holiday catalog on 8/1, I knew I would not be picking it up until 8/30. However, after we evacuated from Leavenworth because of a fire nearby, we were within an hour of my in-laws. I didn't count on a trek down to their house, but Hub decided to head there to wash our poor filthy truck AND he picked up my pre-order! WOOHOO! I am glad something good came out of our hasty departure.
I made this project using three new products from the holiday catalog which launches on September 5th: the Tin Tile textured impressions embossing folder, the sprig punch and the "Get Well Wishes" stamp set. These items are not included in the below supplies list, I will add them after they launch. I used a sentiment from "Enjoy Life!" which I stamped on piece of whisper white that was cut using the Everyday label punch. I made a second label in Basic Gray, trimmed it in two and added it to each end of the white label for more interest. I popped up the label with dimensionals. The bermuda bay floral die cut is from Petals & More thinlit dies.
The colors used were for this weeks Just Add Ink color challenge: Basic Gray, Silver, Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede. I finished this project with silver thread and clear rhinestones.
silver layer: 3 3/8" x 4 5/8"
Bermuda Bay layer: 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"
Basic Gray layer; 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
card base: 4 1/4" x 11" scored in the center at 5 1/2" and folded.
I am entering this project in the following challenges:
