Creativity Wall Art
My artistic process consists of four stages: research, prep, complete, clean up. I research ideas daily. Sometimes I will get an idea and will create it start to finish.
Other days I will just prep which means die cutting, painting, sponging, adding treatments to the smaller cut bits. It also includes making embellishments, or cutting paper..Completion of projects often means digging through my prepped pieces, creating layouts, and project completion.
I always have a collection of prepped items ready at any time. Today I decided it was time to work on a couple of projects from my prepped items.
For this project, I wanted an inspirational piece of art on the wall across from my new desk.Being that I now live in a tiny home, the space for this art is quite small. It is small corner of wall space.
Holtz has really inspiring sentiments and for this small space I chose a new stampe and die set. "From Limitations Comes Creativity". I am very limited on space and supplies so it fits perfectly in my situation.
I colored the butterfly and sentiment with Copic Markers. I used Cardstock and stickers from the Simon Says Stamp June 2015 Card Kit. Finally I use Black Diamond Stickles covered with Glossy Accents on the Butterfly's body, and made a trail from Recollection Glass Glitter. I popped up the butterfly, stars and sentiment.
I love how it turned out!
