So, normally I make two Valentine's day cards each year. This year my life has changed, alot. Now that I am retired I have more free time AND I have established bonds with some of my fellow crafters who I plan on sending cards to throughout the year. So I thought what the heck, I have time, I will make some Valentine's to send to my fellow card makers! I will document one each day this week...
From The Heart in Pinks Card
I created a sponged background to use behind a full A2 sized die cut of flowers but these colors were too bold for it (I will write about this card next). So after I completed the white envelope "from the heart" card, I knew I could use this background for another version of it. I liked that I'd left a "path" of lightest pink that worked perfectly for the little hearts to float up into. I added water to the background to get the drops. This time I used vellum to stamp the same Holtz Simply Sayings sentiment.I used hot pink and red cardstock for the little hearts.
