3M ATG Tape 1/4" General Use
If you use alot of tape, there is a knock-off brand out there. I've used it and it is only ok....
Whew, today was a very busy day. We took off our makeshift trailer skirt. After our first freeze in November when it got down in the teens and our pipes froze, we knew we needed to do something to protect them. So I measured and cut up our tarps and the hubby crawled around and attached them to the bottom of the trailer. Then we put two space heaters under, one at each end. We used power from the barn. That did the trick. At one point we had a low of 12 degrees, high of 27 degrees and it stayed below freezing with snow on the ground fro a week. Very uncharacteristic weather for us. We are sure it was that cold simply because we are living in a fifth wheel.
So today I learned how to empty our black tank into this huge tote. It weighs about 500lbs full and we use a crane to jack it up into the back of the truck to take to the dump. The hubby has always done this and I have always been the more well versed travel person and felt it is my duty to understand and make sure physically I can manage the dumping process. I did it! There was only one part I could not do because my hands are just too weak, especially the right one. It hasn't quite recovered from surgery last summer. The fix to the problem is for me to use a vice grip to get the leverage I need to release the crane.
Ok, onto day twelve's coloring challenge completed project. I chose to add a Gina Marie Scalloped Frame in white, with a Simon Says Stamp 3D banner with "THANK YOU" on it. I have had so much help preparing for our new life that I can send this to just about anyone thanking them for helping us move to our new home:)
I've linked the coloring details in yesterday's post below.
I've included a closeup of today's project. A pic of our crane and blue toter as well as a sneak peek at tomorrow project which I started today.
I am entering this project in the following challenges:
