Hope Your Day Is Awesome Cheerful Cow Card

Day eighteen of the 30 day color challenge is now complete. I actually got alot done today. In the AM we sold our last "extra" vehicle which was holding us back from embarking on our slow travel journeys. After we finished that transaction (so very stressful to sell big things!) I went to my mom's to craft and DH stayed home. Now that we are down to one vehicle for the first time in our lives, He drove me up to her house. We have lots of cars we can borrow as needed before we leave, but how often do most people have only one car these days? Yes, city dwellers can easily get away with no cars, but we are out in the country, not even safe walking distance to the nearest corner store. 

So back to today's coloring. I am making myself choose projects that I've long since stamped on Copic paper and haven't finished. I chose a very cute cow stamp from Whimsy Stamps to color. This stamping is a teeny bit blurry, thus why it has sat for so long, but I think it came out quite nice. I was going for a more cartoony look, so the borders and edges were fat and not blended as much, which is my interpretation of a cartoon look. Then I made three paper daisies from Susan's Garden dies. I have collected an entire binder full of her floral dies. It has been awhile since I broke out the floral forming tools. My mom also made daisies (she has the same die set). We had fun!

I forgot my floral glue so had to use mono glue. It isn't bad but it dries sticky which is not preferred and I kept sticking to everything. I used copics to color the centers of the petals (Y13 and Y17) and the centers are my DIY enamel dots. I used ALOT of colors on this one, what a Copic mess I had at the end! The circle die cut was done using my mom's circle dies and I am not sure which set she owns, but it has alot of them, like 10 total.
