Mountain Air Masculine Birthday Card | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

This masculine birthday card was pretty quick to make. I like how it came out. It was made for my step father so no embellishments were used (he is a no nonsense type of guy).

To create the lake effect, I stamped the actual mountains first, then the lake mountains are just stamped off upside down leaving space enough for the green trees stamp. The Blue lake effect is the bottom half of the trees stamp inked with balmy blue, stamped 3x.

The very bottom strip of land is the tree stamp flipped to its backside and is applied upside down (the top side would have had trees). To finish the bottom I applied a mix of the single and double trees, stamping off on some of them.

The sun was applied with a simple mask using a post-it trimmed to the shape of the mountains. I will save the post it for future masking.
