3M ATG Tape 1/4" General Use
If you use alot of tape, there is a knock-off brand out there. I've used it and it is only ok....
With all the nice weather, we've been outside a lot. That means less crafting time. I did get a chance to CASE a card from Pinterest that I've wanted to make for some time. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/134334001358776929/. I don't own the double sprig, but thought the single sprig I do own would be close enough. I made a blue ombre background and then die cut a floral sprig plus four small stitched squares.
Distress Inks used to make the background:
Broken China
Stormy Sky
Faded Jeans
Chipped Sapphire
I colored some Crinkle Ribbon. I dyed it using a baggie with a drop of Broken China reinker and water. I picked a matching Copic Sketch Marker B52 to color three small pearls.I added a small h.e.l.l.o sentiment from Penny Black's Happy Snippets. Not quite satisfied, I punched out two sizes of butterflies from the remaining blue background. Preparing all of the pieces took a bit of time, but I could see this type of card going much faster making it in bulk, for a set either as a gift or to use myself. Another time saver would be to use patterned cardstock instead of sponging your own background. I could leave the sentiment off and add the appropriate one using my MISTI.
I have entered this project in the following challenges:

The card you cased is
The card you cased is beautiful. I love your darker squares and single twig. The design is tighter. Love the card. So glad you joined us at Die Cut Divas.

I think this turned out
I think this turned out beautifully! I like the pairing of the geometric squares with the elegant butterflies and foilage. I love how you did the "hello" sentiment, too! Thank you for sharing your inspiring work with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
