This project is so me! I bought this Stampin' Up stamp set as soon as I saw it. I was already living full time in our trailer at my mom's. I was still working but knew I would be hitting the road very soon. This set does not come with matching dies but I've been able to fussy cut as needed on other projects.

This time I wanted to create a scene and NOT fussy cut, so I did. I started with the Creative Cat Crew Color Inspiration Challenge #15. The equivalent Stampin' Up colors are Crushed Curry, Whisper White and Soft Suede. I used Copic markers to match these colors and I think my yellow ended up a little on the bright side, but I still like the finished card.   Copic Marker colors used: Y11, Y13, Y18, W1, W2, W3, W4, W5.

I needed to work with the Copic Markers to get the blended result I was after so I used Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock as it is more forgiving when working in alot of color and is a good color match with Whisper White. I would have liked to use Copic Blending Card X-Press It Cardstock but the color is very grey compared to Whisper White. I matted the focal image with 1/8" Soft Suede and 1/8" Crushed Curry.

I made the background using Whisper White cardstock and the closest to Crushed Curry and Soft Suede ink I have. I chose a dotted pattern from Stampin' Ups Dragonfly Dreams stamp set. I matted the background with Crushed Curry cardstock and popped up the focal image with its two mats using dimensionals. I added the satin ribbon and the glitter paper heart for interest.

The glitter heart is a left over from a Paper Pumpkin kit. I find the Paper Pumpkin kits to be a great value with lots of extra pieces to add to the stash for later use. This project ended up being 7 layers with one layer of dimensionals.

I have entered this project in the following challenges:
