Oopsie - hub pointed out that this video is live and it is only Tuesday!

This window shaker is a fun one to make. I keep this mockup around to dismantle whenever I need to make one for a project. In today's video I take it apart and discuss all of the pieces. Below are all of the measurements I can think of. I include them in the video as well. Please leave a comment if I missed...

Winter Is Coming Wednesday - #9 - Christmas Cards From Quick To Stamp Backgrounds - Featuring Parcels & Petals - Part 1

I can see a trend developing with this series. It seems I run out of time before I can get all of the cards finished for showcase pics. Though not intended, I am splitting these into two part episodes so I don't feel rushed to finish. I enjoy the finishing process and make each card individually so need the extra time. Not to mention that I am a very slow crafter.

I cannot believe that we are already into September! Sheesh, winter is just around the corner and we leave from our home area to stay at the ocean this winter. We are hoping to ride out some storms while there.

We have so much to finish up before we leave. Today in fact we finally took our old truck to a local consignment dealer to sell it for us. We'd hoped to have my mom sell it after...

Winter Is Coming Wednesday - #7 - Envelopes Part 2 & Artsy Thanksgiving Design Techniques Demo

Publish Date:
Winter Is Coming Wednesday - #7 | Tracy Marie Lewis |

In this episode I finish up the envelope discussion. I demonstrate using the Stamparatus. This tool's strength is my weakness so we make a great pair! Since I dislike repeat tasks, I use the Stamparatus tool to quickly stamp repeat items, one of those being envelopes.

After a demo of making the addressed side of an envelope, I move on to this week's project which is a Thanksgiving...

Alternatives - August 2020 Paper Pumpkin | Tracy Marie Lewis |

This month's kit is a little bit different. I like it! This video includes an in depth demonstration of stampining and fussy cutting tips to help out a beginning stamper with limited supplies, experienced stampers may opt to go straight to the walkthrough (see time stamps). I only used colored cardstock to supplement what was included in the kit. Any number of embossing folders could also be...

Technique Strip Series #2 - Watercolored Embossing Paste

Technique Strip Series #2 - Watercolored Embossing Paste | Tracy Marie Lewis |

The second strip project started with a full A2 size piece of watercolor paper. This technique is water heavy and regular cardstock will not work.

I followed the inspiration pin pretty close, changing the strip mat, sentiment and gems. I also omitted one cardstock layer, chosing to heat emboss the sentiment on the base itself which is something I rarely do. I was concerned with the 1/4...

Winter Is Coming Wednesday - #6 - Envelopes Special Segment (Part 1) + A Christmas Card Walkthrough

Winter Is Coming Wednesday - #6 | Tracy Marie Lewis |

This week I am changing gears to focus on envelopes. I love to decorate the outside of envelopes but if you are like me and you mail out all your cards, there are some limitations in what you can do. I was so surprised to find a dedicated stamp and die set in this year's holiday mini catalog! It is on page 40. You can download the PDF here >...

Sometimes when you get into a groove, you come out the other side and say... wow, look what we made today! Libby and I had a great virtual crafting session that ended up morphing into a technique day. At the end Libby says hey look, we made a bunch of strip cards!

I will bundle these into a series of blog posts. I may include a demo video or two but this first one is an easy one that...

This week's episode of WICW has alot to offer with so many mix and match possibilities.

The video includes the stamping of the backgrounds, sped up so as not to bore anyone.

The various possible stamp and die sets to consider are shown, and these are just the products I own, there are countless more that will work in the annual and holiday mini catalogs.

I then go away to...

Sunflower Blends Coloring Three Ways - Beginner, Casual & Avid |

I worked on a set of sunflower thank you cards, coloring them in a variety of ways. After they were finished, I chose a set that I felt illustrated three different levels of coloring and created a walkthrough video describing how I colored each one using Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. The above image is a close up of the stipling or dotted technique that includes three different colors of...
