I know it is a little early for Christmas cards, but Libby and I both saw the potential for Christmas themed cards using the Sweetly Swirled stamp set so we made a couple of beginning stamper cards which we then stepped up. These were our last Sweetly Swirled projects for the day. We did not use a pin for inspiration, but we did choose colors to use: Basic Gray, Merry Merlot and Shaded Spruce...

This project started as the above Sweetly Swirled beginner stamper card. I like the clean and simple style with lots of white space.

One way to make a simple card more interesting is to cut the card front down into a smaller shape and then attach it to a full size base. Another tip if you are limited on ink colors is to ink up your stamp, stamp it, then stamp it in another location...

Libby's Birthday Card | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

Every year I have the pleasure of making Libby a very special birthday card. I craft with Libby once or twice a month and as the years go by I have the challenge of outdoing previous birthday cards. She loves pink so I have to decide what shades of pink. This year I went with my current favorite stamp set: Very Versailles. I made the background using three colors of pink and Crumb Cake. I...
