November 2019 - Stamp 'N Hop - Sketch Challenge

It feels so strange to be in my home area (The Pacific Northwest) in the fall. We've spent the last three years down south to avoid the cold wet weather. This year we are waiting for our new truck to be delivered (We live in a 32ft fifth wheel so this is our tow vehicle). After trying out a couple of newer used trucks, we ultimately decided to go with exactly what we want. This process took us all year to work through. I never imagined that a vehicle could be so hard to find!

We typically purchase older vehicles so we had to research when was the best time to get good deals. In the fall the pricing on a new vehicle is very competitive as they are phasing out the current year to make way for the next.

While we wait patiently for delivery, I am getting lots of crafting time in!

Welcome to the November Stamp 'N Hop blog hop. This month is a sketch challenge. I love to see how everyone interprets the sketch and which products they use. If you hopped from Vicky's blog, I hope you enjoyed her project, she is always so creative!

This project started with three different patterns from the Bird Ballad DSP. The sentiment is from the Free As A Bird stamp set, also part of Bird Ballad. The rounded corners, roughed edges and Pear Pizzazz sponging added more interest. The Pear Pizzazz stars and dots are from the So Many Stars stamp set. The sprig and leaves are Frosted Bouquet dies and the finishing touches include adhesive sequins and a polka dot tulle bow. This is a great coordinating suite and I love all of the cheerful colors!
