Countdown to OnStage - Card Front Swaps - #3

Publish Date:
Dashing Deer With Snow | Tracy Marie Lewis |

This next set of fronts uses the filigree pattern deer stamp.  I stamped these in two colors: Merry Merlot and Soft Suede. The first card started out as masculine and I was not going to add any embellishments but I determined that the stamp's pattern makes it more feminine. I die cut a bunch of white snowflakes from the Beautiful Blizzard set and used a few here with the metallic sequins....

Countdown to OnStage - Card Front Swaps - #2

Publish Date:
Wood Textures Leaping Deer Fronts | Tracy Marie Lewis |

I made great progress on swaps today! I finished the deer layouts I had prepped over the last couple of days. That brings my completed count to ten. I will reveal them in groups by deer die. Today's two use the Wood Textures DSP and the leaping deer die.

The first front started with a practice piece of Whisper White. I liked it well enough to put it in my to be used container. I was...

Countdown to OnStage - Card Front Swaps - #1

Card Front One | Tracy Marie Lewis |

After traveling over four thousand miles from Washington state to Florida for OnStage, I now MUST get my swaps done. I am not a good repetition crafter, I pretty much fail in that department. So, in order to keep this fun for me I am going to blog all of my projects I make to swap. I will be making card fronts, so their final size will be about 4" x 5 1/4" so all that is left is to adhere them...

October 2018 - Kre8tors Blog Hop - Inspiration Image Color Challenge - Autumn

Publish Date:
October 2018 Kre8tors Blog Hop | Tracy Marie Lewis |

Today I am hopping with the Kre8tors blog hop group. We were challenged to use at least three of the listed colors as well as be inspired by the provided image. I knew immediately that I would be using the Rooted In Nature Bundle, but did not know what I wanted to make, I sort of let the project create itself with some input from my husband. Included below is a short video illustrating how I...

October 2018 Stamp 'N Hop Blog Hop - Christmas

Publish Date:
October 2018 Stamp 'N Hop | Tracy Marie Lewis |

Welcome to the October Stamp 'N Hop blog hop. This month we are getting a jump start on Christmas cards. I just finished a two week long trek from Washington state down to Florida so it is hard to think about Christmas with all of this warm weather. We did have to shorten our schedule and skip driving through Georgia due to hurricane Michael. Instead we high tailed it down to Orlando to miss...

October 2018 - Colour Combo Blog Hop

October 2018 Colour Combo Blog Hop | Tracy Marie Lewis |

Welcome to the October 2018 Colour Combo blog hop! I am currently in Orlando Florida, having had to alter our travel plans at the last minute due to hurricane Michael. We just barely made it down through Tallahassee this morning, as we drove down we saw a huge contingent of service vehicles heading back to the panhandle to help out after the storm goes through. I saw caravans of utilities...

Two Purple Projects - Here's The Second

Publish Date:
Fun Purple Project | Tracy Marie Lewis |

The second purple project I want to share is a purple on purple A2 sized card. First the Gorgeous Grape base was embossed with the Layered Leaves Embossing folder.

The focal is created from two layers of Gorgeous Grape, starting with the mat and then arranging cut up punched parts from the Darling Label punch.

Layered hand colored Highland Heather cardstock and striped Gorgeous...

Two Purple Projects - Here's The First

Publish Date:
Purple Love You To Pieces Card | Tracy Marie Lewis |

The next two projects I have to share are purple. I love purple!

This first one uses the puzzle stamp and die set "Love You To Pieces Clear Bundle". The project uses Gorgeous Grape and Heather Highland cardstock and ink. The only color comes from the Whisper White sentiment puzzle pieces, the pearlized doily and the two pearls. The stamped hearts added along the bottom make a perfect...

Happy Birthday Mix It Up Card

Happy Birthday Mix It Up Card | Tracy Marie Lewis |

This is a pretty straight forward card. I like all of the busy-ness going on with it. It has lots of layers and embellishments. The sentiment and decorative stamping behind the sentiment is from the "Detailed With Love" stamp set. The DSP is Love What You Do and the seed beads are Tranquil Textures Sprinkles.

Crumb Cake Base: 5 1/4" x 4 1/2"...

Red Puzzle You Keep Me Together Card

Red Puzzle You Keep Me Together Card | Tracy Marie Lewis |

I am making the big trek from Washington state, down to the Floriday keys and back up to Orlando for OnStage. I have saved a selection of cards to share as I will have no time to bring out the crafting supplies but I will have time to write while we are driving. This card was from a Stamp A Stack event I attended in July. It was this very card that convinced me to purchase the die set. I can...
