I wanted to share a Christmas card project with you. I have so many Christmas Swap cards that they have their own box! I have sorted them into three categories as follows: AWESOME, I wouldn't change a thing!, Just about there, but needs a little more work, and finally, the lowest category, there's no help for this project.

Luckily I didn't receive too many really poor cards, but yes I did receive some.

So for today I have my favorite almost there card with a before picture and the after. All I did on this card is spend time using blends to really make the coloring rich and vibrant. I know that many creators don't focus on coloring and certainly making umpteen million of the same card is tedious when not coloring, so to choose a coloring swap is kind of crazy in the first place. I would struggle with the balance of good coloring versus speed.

All I did with this card is color, and color some more. Then I added white gel pen and voila the card is now a thing of beauty!

Blends colors used: Real Red light and dark, Cherry Cobbler Dark, Shaded Spruce light and dark.

This project came with a generous layer of Wink Of Stella which was not minimized at all by my coloring over the top of it, the sparkles still shine through. If you love this stamp set, it is only available until supplies run out or January 2nd, whichever comes first. It comes with the stamps and dies if you buy the bundle, which I have listed in the supplies below. When you click on the supplies link, it will take you to my Stampin' Up! online store.

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas spending time with family and friends. My husband and I are staying in Arizona and though our family and friends are far away, there was lots of texting going on.
