Since I travel full time, I am often not in a location long enough to place pre-orders for new products soon to be released. So, when I saw the schedule for the 2019 fall catalog I was so excited because I am currently staying in one area long enough to pre-order!

I ordered stamps to use for Thanksgiving and winter cards as well as embellishments and a few stamp sets just for fun. I will be revealing projects using these products throughout August. They will not appear on the supplies list until they go live in September.

The back story for why I bought today's sneak peek set is that because I live in campgrounds year around, two of the most common critters we see are deer and bunnies. Of course squirrels are just as common and I already have a cute squirrel stamp in the Peaceful Place stamp set. I was so excited to get this set and I see myself using it for a variety of cards including Christmas, Winter, Birthday, Hello and Note cards. This set does not include sentiments.

I created the deer card first and did not leave enough room for the small Happy Birthday sentiment I'd picked out so I went with a simple Hi instead.

I planned the bunny card around the Happy Birthday, placing the sentiment first and worked around it. This is a great tip to keep in mind when making simple cards with minimal layers. I did trim down the card fronts to 4 x 5 1/4" and adhered them to a thick Whisper White base. I think both cards with their envelopes took me less than 10 minutes to make and photograph. This is a perfect set for a beginning stamper. They can use whatever medium they have handy to color in the deer and bunny and cutting them out is easy peasy.

I added no embellishments as these are for the Stampin' Up! demonstrator monthly challenge which is paper, ink, birthday theme. These small sentiments match the "look" of the artwork and are part of the New Wonders host stamp set from the annual catalog.

If you do not have a demonstrator or are looking for a change, I would love to have the honor. I am an active YouTuber and blogger, here are some other Stampin' Up! web activities I have for you to check out:

Thank you for the great ideas. I tried it, but I used a 'D' to stamp pretty posy diluted ink on the ww cardstock, then stamped most of the images with the bunny inside the colored area.
I am using this for my card class tomorrow.
