Special Request - Sunshine In A Card!

My husband requested that I add a bunch of sunshine to his dad's birthday card, I video'ed "most" of it... on a pouring down rainy day in Arizona. Seriously, so far we've been in a snowstorm and now multipled days of dumping rain. What is with Arizona anyways?

I used two Stampin' Up! stamp sets to accomplish this request. Waterfront which is from the annual catalog and I own two copies of this awesome set for teaching beginning stamping classes. You can make so many simple yet clever layouts with this one set! And of course I had to use the cactus builder stamps in Flowering Desert which is new in the occasions catalog. 

The rest of the card was created using High Tide with the sentiment from Perennial Birthday. I did not use any embellishments on this card.
