I bought this stamp set just for me... I say that because I try to buy multi-purpose stamps and IF I buy a very specific set it is because it is calling to me, and this flamingo set kept at it until I finally bought it:).

As far as using it goes, I love how easy it is to make a polished looking card. The flamingo itselt is a four step stamp. The top of the flamingo has a solid stamp for a light colored base, then stamp two is a darker solid that includes the legs and feet. Then the flamingo's body line stamp body is separate from its legs should you need it to be in water. The sentiments font is a lettering type of capital leters with a couple of cursive lettering sentiments.

I am very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend it if you are a bird or flamingo fan!

I will admit most of my design work is unscripted and I rarely work by measurements. So for this card, I have my trusty ruler out to measure the various bits, and here they are:

Focal Layer: 3 1/2" x 5 3/8"
Black Layer: 3 5/8" x 5 3/8"
Sparkle Glimmer Layer: 3 7/8" x 5 3/8"
Flirty Flamingo DSP Layer: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (A2 size)
Card Base: 4 1/4" x 11" (Vertical Tent)

Inks Used:

Ferns: Garden Green
Grass: Granny Apple Green
Water: Coastal Cabana (or Mint Macaron)
Flamingo: Powder Pink and Flirty Flamingto
Sentiment: Powder Pink and Memento Tuxedo Black
