OnStage Take & Make - Amazing Life - Alternative
Though OnStage is behind me now, I am still wrapping up bits and pieces of it. What a fabulous experience it was! It wasn't all perfect of course. The weather the first three days was oppressive, but it had been that way since I first arrived in Florida a few weeks ago. The food at the venue was inconsistent at best. Eight sat to a table and each meal varied wildly.
The most amazing sight was the long lines for die cutting. I think each side of the huge lunch room we were in (there were four of them) had 20 or so big shots and people stood in line for each one. Libby my team leader, having already been to an OnStage, herded us to do our die cutting before eating our lunch, and that was the best move ever! Thank you Libby:)
We received a welcome box upon registering and in it was the new "Amazing Life" cling stamp set. Also in it was a shrink wrapped set of materials, with an image of a completed card. This I found out at one of the sessions was a "Take & Make" project. In hindsight you were supposed to use the lunch Make & Take supplies to finish it. I did snip off some of the olive green linen thread and found it once I was home.
So I made an Alternative design for this Take & Make. I changed up the background stamping and used Blends (light and dark Flirty Flamingo and light Highand Heather, light and dark Daffodil Delight) to color the cake. I decorated the envelope with a colored cake as well. It is a very small card, only 2 1/2 x 4 1/2.
We made four Make & Takes and this one Take & Make.
Stampin' Blends
It is so nice to have colors that coordinate with all of the Stampin' Up! color palette. These...
