We just barely made it down through Tallahassee this morning, as we drove down we saw a huge contingent of service vehicles heading back to the panhandle to help out after the storm goes through. We had to alter our plans to avoid tropical storm Michael. Instead of stopping over for a night in Georgia, we are going to make a run for Orlando which is outside Michael's path. Our trek today will be 6 1/2 hours, but we are game to gitter done and be settled in for the storm.

We made it to our next stopping point, a three night break from driving in Tennessee. It ends up being only two days of rest, but we really needed it. Our drive along the east side of the Ozarks was a little bit more hilly, twisty and windy. So, I warned Hub to expect most of our trek the next day to be a repeat. I was wrong with that assessment. We were so far east that our drive started out steep and twisty but quickly turned into rolling hills. It is so beautiful in Arkansas, something I was not expecting.

The second purple project I want to share is a purple on purple A2 sized card. First the Gorgeous Grape base was embossed with the Layered Leaves Embossing folder.
The focal is created from two layers of Gorgeous Grape, starting with the mat and then arranging cut up punched parts from the Darling Label punch.
