For the second display project, I started with a single stamped Smoky Slate Birch background. The trimmed size: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" with sponged edges in Smoky Slate. Basic Gray mat 3 3/4" z 5", both mounted on a thick 4 1/4" x 11" base scored at 8 1/2".

I set that aside and started to play with a snowy scene. Hub chose the animal, Nature's Beauty has a deer, fox and bunny. He said fox, so...

Birch Horse Birthday Card | Tracy Marie Lewis |

I am working with Libby on display projects. We are making a set of cards using the Birch background for her North Carolina group's big quarterly get together. Since I move all over I am sort of an orphan so it is nice to be able to participate in group activities even if remotely.

This is the first of three A2 size cards and I decided on a vertical gate fold card.

The top and...

With my wrist officially given the thumbs up from the surgeon, I went to my mom's for a couple of crafting days. It was a beautiful day for the drive. She is quite a ways off I-5 but it is worth the drive. She has a small farm on 5 acres with dogs, horses and a big garden. We lived there for nine months in our trailer so her dogs get very excited excited when we come to visit.

This was...

Our New Rig - 2018 Dodge RAM 3500 | Tracy Marie Lewis |

This article will be a long one because I want to start at the beginning.

When we made the decision to sell everything and RV travel full time, the biggest decision of all was: what type and size of RV will we travel in?  At this point we had owned two motorhomes and one travel trailer. All three were very small with no slides. The motorhomes were setup to tow either a horse trailer or...

Here's another project made while crafting with Libby. Requirements for this version was leaves coming from the top and Rococo Rose, Sahara Sand and Pretty Peacock. We also decided on Very Vanilla for the card front. This project started out pretty easy for me, but then for the below stepped up version I had to adjust a few of the embellishments to balance it out.

I created so many alternatives I had to just stop or I would never get the video published. It is just over 30 minutes long and is loaded with great ideas and tips.

Very Versailles Simple Stamping Project #2 Version #2

Green & Black Busy Birthday Cards | Tracy Marie Lewis |

This project was a struggle, I overthought the simple version and ended up with four versions using the front and back of two card fronts. So I chose the two best ones and went with them.

This is the busier one which I don't like as well, but when I worked on the stepped up version, I found the layers I added toned down the background busy-ness that I did not like. I distressed and tore...

Many Directions Floral Congrats Card

Bright Floral Congrats Card 2 | Tracy Marie Lewis |

Here is one of the samples I made for my "How I Made That Card" video. The only difference is that I created the main flower using the Stamparatus and many layers so it came out much darker than the card in the video. This is one of the four designs at the end.

I wanted to make each of the card fronts unique and not using my standard matting. For this card I started by trimming down the...
