I cannot believe this is Creative Cat Crew color challenge #55 already! Here is the inspiration image:  This weeks color challenge colors were not called out specifically, so I excercised a little artistic freedom with my choices. I used Soft Sky, Rich Razzleberry and Peekaboo Peach.

For this week's color challenge, I told myself I would create my sentiment using Stampin' Up!'s NEW Stamparatus which will be in the new catalog coming out June 1. I am very familiar with this type of stamping tool. I have used a MISTI since I started making cards five years ago. What I like about the stamparatus is that there are two hinged fronts, now they don't layer like I envisioned, you can only have one mounted at a time, but because these "doors" as I think of them, are removable, that gives me four sides to mount stamps. I used all four sides to build my sentiment which then made applying the letters very, very fast. I only made one sentiment but boy if I had to make multiple copies of a sentiment, this would be the fastest way to get it done! I like that the magnets store on the back, however, the magnets will happliy stick to anything close to them that is metal so you do have to watch them or they will disappear on you.

The letters that I used to build the sentiment are not available for customer's to order until 5/2. I will update the supplies list with the items that will be available at that time.

I finally bought some metallic thread so I used copper under the Rich Razzleberry ribbon to match the copper heat embossed flowers. The flowers are from a new stamp set called Love What You Do and they are going to be available on 5/2 as well. I sponged and stamped small flowers and a leaf from the same set in Soft Sky ink on Soft Sky cardstock. I sponged the edges with Soft Sky ink as well.

The flowers were colored with Rich Razzleberry light and dark blends. I added some grunge dots in Soft Sky from the Wetlands stamp set and also from Wetlands is the sun stamp which was inked with Peekaboo Peach. I like how this card came out. It isn't a typical "Tracy" design.

Thanks for stopping by, please feel free to leave comments or questions, I am here to help!
