We are listing our home to sell and there's just so much to get done in the next few weeks. Even better yet, I have a craft retreat to go to this weekend. Needless to say, I haven't been producing my average of one project per day. I did get an Easter card made for my mom last week. So, I thought even if I cannot make projects, I could document my progress on moving and the retreat. I will start with the move.

We are doing some serious downsizing, from a 2200sq ft home to a 350sf fifth wheel trailer. Don't feel sorry for me at all, because the trailer is lovely and will take us anywhere we need to go. There is plenty of room in it for my papercrafts to come along with me, and even though I don't get to bring everything, I will enjoy letting my family use what tools and supplies I do not have room for.

Over the weekend I packed everything I thought I would need out to the trailer and stowed away what I could. From there I used grid paper to analyse every single nook and cranny not yet filled. After analysing what dimensions would fit where, I created an order sheet for a set of Totally-Tiffany clear plastic soft storage. I am very excited to see how this all works out in the end.

In addition, I finally made myself finish organizing my stamps. Now my stamps ALL reside in binders on either the EZ storage plastic sheets, or in Martha Stewart two up storage sleeves. The EZ storage is for all my rubber stamps, the Martha Stewart for photopolymer stamps. I labeled everything as I loaded them in. I have 11 binders full with 2 more binders coming. They do not fit vertically due to the sloping roof, so I laid them horizontal stacked flip-flopped one on top of the other.

Here is what I ordered:

  • 4x - Monica - ink pad storage
  • 5x - Debra - marker storage
  • 4x - Shelly - washi storage
  • 4x - Gail - paint storage
  • 4x - Edna - ribbon storage
  • 2x - 3" heavy duty white binders

I already have extra EZ Storage panels, and Martha Stewart sleeves. I will follow up with how the final packing works out!

The first picture shows my Copics container. Because of its size, it will live in the pantry. I am so excited that our trailer comes with its own pantry!

Next, I will discuss packing for the retreat.
