So, normally I make two Valentine's day cards each year. This year my life has changed, alot. Now that I am retired I have more free time AND I have established bonds with some of my fellow crafters who I plan on sending cards to throughout the year. So I thought what the heck, I have time, I will make some Valentine's to send to my fellow card makers! I will document one each day this week.

It ended up when I had all 8 cards sitting in front of me that the card I had made for my mom would be better for a fellow Copic colorist friend. That one I've already posted. So, because of that decision this is the card that I gave to my mom (but she doesn't get to open it until tomorrow morning. It was super simple. I'd made some die cuts of the cutest tiny envelop that Stampin' Up released this year and I used it on this very simple card. The tiny hearts came with an older Sizzix set. What I liked about this set is it came with 4 individual hearts so you can cut four at once AND you can move them around and make a negative cut or cuts as needed. I made a very thin red mat.

The Sentiment is from the Holtz Simple Sayings cling rubber set.
