Day twenty fiveof the 30 day challenge and I am still hanging in the fight! I visited my old reining horse, she was my Rookie horse and we achieved great things together. She is retired now at 17, still looks awesome. Her owner does still compete in an event called Ranch Riding that is not so hard physically on an older horse.

Today's project is a Holtz Blueprint. During the hunt for the strangest stamp I could find, I took out this lightbulb that was one of the first Holts Blueprints stamps purchased. I found some of my very old flat paper that takes the Distress Inks well. I was light with my colors, shooting for a parchment, aged look. I wanted the image to have some space so it is mounted on a cream 5 x 7 card. I used a 1/4" matt of a dark lined Recollections paper from Michael's. I penned the quote at the bottom. I am thinking of making this art for my trailer wall, but it will work well as a card too.

Distress Ink colors used:

Old Paper

Antique Linen

Weathered Wood (dauber and marker)

Scattered Straw

Wild Honey

A tiny bit of Vintage Photo (dauber)
