3M ATG Tape 1/4" General Use
If you use alot of tape, there is a knock-off brand out there. I've used it and it is only ok....
I have had this heron since Christmas and have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to use it. DH's aunt lives near water on Long Island and will be the perfect recipient for this project. I sponged the background first, then cut the dies all in white, choosing white canvas Core'dinations paper for added interest. I bought the seabirds awhile back and was excited to get to use them for this scene. I used a stitched snow bank for placement of the sentiment. I used a Stampin' Up birthday sentiment. Recently I became frustrated with the difficulty in finding sentiments in my Stampin' Up binders. I dedicated a single binder to ONLY stamp set sentiments. I then pulled all sentiments from their set and stored them alphabetically in this binder. Now finding a particular sentiment is SOOOO much easier! However I did not track which sentiment goes with what set.
Distress Ink colors used:
Squeezed Lemonade (sun)
Wild Honey
Dried Marigold
Salty Ocean
Forest Moss
I added water sparkle with white gel pen.
I have entered this project in the following challenges:

Where I used to work there is a free table. All sorts of items get put on this table and about 5...
I have invested in all distress ink colors. I use the one inch pads with reinkers to save on...
This is my default Copic coloring stamping ink. I have the large, teardrop and reinker!

This is really a lovely piece
This is really a lovely piece of art! I thought it was so clever of you to create a whole scene for your heron and to tie him in to the frame. The background is GORGEOUS and I'm so impressed with the amazing color blending you did to give it such a realistic effect. This is stunning and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
