Retreat Project - Distress Oxide Ink Cubes
Months ago I had my mom order the full set of 12 Distress Oxide re-inkers (they've released 12 more now). I then had my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator (before I was a demonstrator) buy 3 packs of Stampin' Spots which are new in the catalog this year.
I needed to create samples of the following ink applications:
Solid stamp | Lined Stamp| Sponging
In addition I needed to show these on both black and white. By the third color I realized that I need to show the application with no water and with water applied (water causes the oxidization effect).
So I ended up with 2x one inch black squares and I made a narrow white cardstock example that I taped on each of the two black squares. I taped them together with scotch tape and then used Scor-Tape to adhere the bottom black square to the clear lid of the Stampin' Spot.
I wrote the color name on the top black, The bottom says Oxidized as a reminder of what the second square is for.
I labeled each square with white gel pen.
I stored the finished cube in the Holtz Mini Tin.
Basic White Cardstock 8 1/2 x 11
Stampin' Ups white cardstock they use for everything! Note: This cardstock replaced Whisper...
