Winter Is Coming Wednesday - #1 - Two Cards With Technique Video

These two cards were fun to make and took me and my virtual card pals forever! We had to research the Joseph's coat of many colors techniques and we chose two to try out. It was alot of fun and the favorite result for me was the messy version. I demo both techniques, walk through each card and then finish it with a photo showcase. Video length 13 min xx sec. 

Most of the products used in both cards are not available for purchase until August 4th so the supply list will be short until after that date.

Lets see, what did I miss pointing out in the video?

The snowflake card has roughed up edges on the snowflake background and the banner. To save on the Balmy Blue glimmer, I cut four thin strips to adhere around the background as a mat. I opted to use Pool Party as one of the snowflake die cut layers, but for the background I sponged on Coastal Cabana. The top little diecut snowflake is Misty Moonlight whereas the backgroun and sentiment ink is Night of Navy.

On the thanksgiving card I did use the pinewood planks embossing folder on all three pattern DSPs.

Hub thought both were nice, however bling always wins so the snowflake card is his favorite.

I made sure to stamp the inside, envelope and back which makes these two cards DONE 100%. I am very, very bad at finishing my cards completely, so this is another goal I have for my WIC Wednesday projects, finish them and store them for giving. I don't know how many of you have a "to be finished" container, well mine is overflowing right now.
