After traveling over four thousand miles from Washington state to Florida for OnStage, I now MUST get my swaps done. I am not a good repetition crafter, I pretty much fail in that department. So, in order to keep this fun for me I am going to blog all of my projects I make to swap. I will be making card fronts, so their final size will be about 4" x 5 1/4" so all that is left is to adhere them to an A2 card base. I do not have space for a ton of these so I am targeting 50 in total. I am meeting my group of about ten so they will get first dibs on these, leaving me 40 for swaps.

I do not have space in our trailer for any 3d items. The first bunch of fronts are going to be made using the Dashing Deer bundle. I cut a bunch of deer parts out at a retreat I attended in September and I have enough left to produce a dozen or so fronts. I spent quite a bit of time over the weekend cutting and coloring coordinating materials. Now I can focus on putting them together.

I intend to make some repeat designs, but not likely until I move on to the Beautiful Blizzard bundle.

This first card is Whisper White with two Soft Suede inked deer. I used a toothpick to add some Frost White shimmer paint snow to the circle and on their backs. The background is dry embossed with the Softly Falling embossing folder. I layered some torn DSP (I also added som of the shimmer paint to this), Burlap Ribbon and lace I've colored with an Iced Spruce dark Blends marker. I topped these layers with silver mini sequin ribbon. Voila, swap front #1 COMPLETE!

Thanks for stopping by, please feel free to leave comments or questions, I am here to help!
