Whimsical Flower Happy Birthday Card

I won a card kit prize for my Mushroom Fairy card, which came late last week. Yesterday I got together with my mom to do some crafting. I brought the pieces that I won and the second card I made was this card which used a nice blue and white stamped background with a matching blue ribbon from that kit. I added the thin back blue layer (it is an ombre recollections 12 x 12 sheet from Michaels) and the green and white layer.. I also added a silver button slide to the ribbon.

I did not bring my Copics with me (the first time EVER) and of course I wanted to color a little bit of the flower. I used my mom's alcohol markers. She has a mix of Copic and Spectrum Noir markers. I thought the colors went perfectly. The JOFY stamp set "Keep off the grass" comes with a set of words you an cut out and mix/match anyway you want. I ended up staying with happy birthday as any more words made the card too busy.
