This card is a combo challenge card. I am camping this week in our trailer. It is out second trip away from "home" which is a misnomer since where ever we go, our home comes with us. We camped just north of my husband's family so we could head there for Thanksgiving dinner. Earlier today we took a walk along the trail marked on the RV Camp's map. It started nice and easy, along a service road, then it took a turn off the road and whew, I am glad I wasn't in any hurry. It was very rough and steep. We finally wound our way along to the next service road. What a big RV park. We walked over a mile and popped out half way through the park. It was great exercise!

I started this card with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Christmas to Die for. I then surfed through Splitcoast Stampers and came up with a unique mix between the SSS Challenge and this week's Inspiration challenge - Spellbinders. Here's the link usings Spellbinders: https://www.scrapbook.com/gallery/image/card/5246229.html that I chose to work from. I have that Spellbinders set, but not the Ornament. The closest match I have is a set of three Memory Box ornaments and I chose on of them for the focal ornament.

I then checked the color challenge to see if that could be incorporated. I used the color challenge, but did have to stray a tiny bit. I only had silver glitter with me and found a very small snippet of gold glitter to incorporate the gold/yellow. I was also inspired to keep this card as clean and simple as I could using the above parameters. I cut the ornament background in a lovely deep red foil paper that has a nice glow to it.

I popped up the ornament and hung it from the Spellbinders cutout using some red/silver baker's twine. The small bits of gold make a nice contrast to the silver. I believe I got this particular piece of silver glitter from someone at a retreat and I'd been hoarding it until a special time to use it, like now:)

I did not find the Ornament nor Spellbinder DIe readily available so my supplies list is quite short, Apologies.

Here's the challenges I made this project for:
